I know...I'm so behind this curve but I came across this video...I guess it's viral since it has like 9 million+ hits and Tay Zonday's original 'Chocolate Rain' has something like 48 million hits since 2007. Hilariously funny! Tell me he doesn't sound like a young James Earl Jones. This dude could have a career in voice animation...maybe? the OG is after the flip...
Did you grow up in the 80s/90s? Do you remember when Saturday mornings were the best to wake up and watch some of the best cartoons followed up by Saved by the Bell and California Dreams? Well, this was more the early to mid 1990s where those shows reached the height of their popularity.
I know you couldn't beat the cartoon lineups in the 1980s and then the 1990s brought us into the halls of Bayside High with Mr. Belding, Zack Morris and the gang.
So what happened to the Saved by the Bell reunion that Jimmy Fallon was going to bring us? Supposedly it fell thru for whatever reasons (Screech is now hated by pretty much everyone) so what's the next best thing?
California Dreams reunion dudes! I know you're humming the theme song now...or is it just me?
You have got to check out this series of videos of SNL currents, alums, and other comedic greats impersonating present and past Presidents. SNL has been lacking in the funny department for a few years but never fails when they add some valuable talent to the mix. The President spoofs is always hilarious. Enter Will Ferrell, Dana Carvey, Darrell Hammond, and even Jim Carrey as late former president Ronald Reagan. Check it out:
You have got to check out this 2-hour reality TV show of some sorts that aired on Animal Planet within the past week called Venom in Vegas with Donald Schultz.
If you’re a fan of reptiles or especially snakes like me, you’ll enjoy this. Donald Schultz took on the challenge of living in this glass box on the Las Vegas strip for 10 days where his staff routinely bring in different types of snakes to live in the box with him for that span of time. The only time the staff warns him of what species of snakes he is given is if it’s a ‘spitting cobra’ or his most feared the ‘black mamba.’ Schultz eats, sleeps, showers, and spents his days in this box with various snakes like vipers, cobras, black mambas, anacondas, etc…crazy?
His staff has all the anti-venoms for each species in case of a bite which did occur I think a couple times. These creatures are amazing and it’s interesting how they act and react in such a small space.
These snakes fascinate me…does that mean I would like to handle any one of these snakes? Hell no…but I’m still intrigued by them nonetheless. Take a look at one of the videos:
Yes, the 25-year-old classic has been remade by Lionel Richie for the benefit of the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
It's weird not hearing Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Springsteen, or Stevie Wonder...apparently Richie didn't want anyone from the 1st version except for a voice-in of Michael Jackson. Newer stars appear in this video like Miley Cyrus, Fergie, Wyclef Jean, Pink, Adam Levine of Maroon Five, Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Akon, T-Pain...and even older stars like Celene Dion, Barbara Striesand, LL Cool J, Janet Jackson...
Either way, this rendition is good...can't compare to the first one at all but it's about the movement and the cause. Take a look:
