Tiger Woods…

With every news and sports channel covering this story, I’m sure we are all sick and tired of the coverage.

Right?

Well what really happened is unclear but if you’re as big a sports athlete or celebrity for that matter as a Tiger Woods, it’s hard to do anything discretely.

Have celebrities not learned from other’s mistakes?

I came across this video and thought the second reenactment of this whole ‘accident’ was probably very accurate to the truth...hilarious how they came up with this but I bet it's not far from the truth.

Tiger Woods officially confessed in his own ‘beating around the bush’ sorta way that he delved in some type of infidelity. The details are still surfacing and we’ll probably all know sooner or later.

The bottom line is Elin and Tiger probably had a big confrontation about the infidelity reports that night where Elin most likely slapped him which caused the scratch or laceration marks on his face. He took off running to get the hell out, and she took off after him with a golf club. Distracted by her craziness, he ran into the fire hydrant and ricocheted into the tree. She was obviously pissed at him but not enough for him to get hurt or die which is why she tended to his injuries until the ambulance arrived. Of course Tiger will not put the blame on Elin. He’s the one who screwed up and now’s going to pull out all the stops to keep her from taking him to the cleaners. Tiger’s more worried about his image and that he got caught more than anything else. Right? Or Wrong?

I guess it’s not too difficult to believe it happened. If you’ve followed Tiger throughout his career, he was a straight up geek growing up. Big, thick glasses…buck teeth covered in braces…awkward physique…but he was a phenom on the golf course. After he got into his 20s, he started weight training and developed a physique different from any other golfer on tour that helped him totally dominate the golf world. He brought excitement to golf that was never there. He was and still is a celebrity. He’s still a geek but now he has that appeal that hot chicks are drawn to…fame, money, and…well that’s pretty much it right? I bet he never thought in a million years he would be getting this kind of attention from all these women. The only problem now is he’s married. Did he get married too soon or could he just not handle the temptation? Would you say he’s a victim of his own success?

What kind of effect will this have on his endorsements? After all, he probably earns 10x the amount of money (probably much, much more) from his endorsements than he accumulates from his golf tournament winnings. It really is an insane amount of money. Tiger and Elin got married in 2004, and I’m sure they signed a Pre-nup…but wouldn’t Elin be entitled to at least half of anything Tiger accrued since they got married? This is only relevant saying they get a divorce. Who knows…maybe they work it out…we’ll see as more details of his infidelities come out. Since he’s apparently done this on a number of occasions, this might give Elin no other choice but to bounce.
