Albert Pujols got his 100th RBI last night which gave him his 9th straight season with at least 100RBIs to start off his young career. The MLB player with a longer streak to start off his career in the history of the league was Hall of Famer Al Simmons, who had 11 straight with the Philadelphia Athletics from 1924-1934.

So the first and unusual statistical question I hear this morning is from ESPN’s Mike and Mike show:

Of all active MLB players, there are 7 total players with at least 9-100RBI seasons with Albert Pujols now being one of them. Given 10 minutes, I only named 3 out of the 6 remaining players correctly. Give yourself the same time to name the 6 other players before scrolling down for the answer:

6.   Vladimir Guerrero (9)

7. (Albert Pujols) (9) As of August 10, 2009
