Congratulations to the Los Angeles Lakers for winning the 2009-2010 NBA title! It was well deserved...definitely an earned victory. This was probably the best game I've seen in a very long time. I love watching an intense, physical, defensive matchup, and this is exactly what we fans got in last night's Game 7. The Boston Celtics double and triple teamed Kobe Bryant pretty much containing him all night. Kobe didn't give up and got a bulk of his points from the free throw line. This is a game where Kobe reallyyyyy need his teammates to lift him up and do what he's done for that team all season long. Pau Gasol stepped up in clutch situations with numerous rebounds and clutch free throws. Ron Artest was a defensive mad man just ripping the ball away from guys like Glen Davis and Paul Pierce...did I mention Artest also threw down some critical 3-pointers and other baskets. This was an awesome game!

As a fan of the game and not bias to either the Celtics or Lakers, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. These two teams are easy to hate since it seems they are always hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy. Phil Jackson masterminded another championship team making that his 11th title but that was not even a big deal to most critics as much as Kobe winning his 5th NBA title was. Amazing season!
