Are you kidding me? I guess by us talking about Chad OchoCinco's antics, it only gives him more publicity and the attention that this diva NFL wide receiver desires.

Well, if I know that then why am I talking about it here?

At first, I was irritated at his touchdown celebrations. His name change to the spanish translation of 8-5 which is Ocho Cinco was unbelievable and surprised me that he did that. Now he's just announced a possible second name change to the Japanese translation of 8-5 which is Hachi Go. Can people jus
t change their name repeatedly? I guess so

Stupid huh?

Well, Chad Ocho Cinco or Hachi Go or whatever he wants to be called is becoming a self-marketing genius. The dude obviously loves himself like most NFL wide receivers do. Terrell Owens loves him some me. Keyshawn Johnson was always about giving him the 'damn ball.' Cris Carter used to whine about not get enough catches. Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice still love the spotlight during their post NFL career since both appeared on 'Dancing with the Stars.'

Chad had his own website that tracks his day to day life at one point...he probably still does. He uses Twitter like no other...claimed he was retiring from using it...then started back up. He makes his own controversies and creates attention to himself.

The one thing...one thing you can say about him is that he's not doing anything illegal.(so far) It's all in good fun, brings humor, and fans just have to shake their heads with a little smirk followed by a 'what is Chad doing now?' He does his thing on the field, accepts the fine, and is satified with it. As a fan, I almost expect him to do something outrageous now as it's part of watching the Bengals play.

What do you think? Is it good for the game? Too much a distraction to his team or just plain bad sportsmanship to the opposing team?
