wooooh

Are you serious? I thought the days of seeing Ric Flair in the ring was over...well okay I might be slow sometimes but not stupid. The days of pro athletes retiring and coming back...retiring and coming back...it's a continuing trend, and it's only going to get more difficult for them as long as their respective league leaves that door open for them. Once a lot of these guys retire (like the Michael Jordans, Brett Favres, etc), they don't know what to do with their lives. I mean, really...how much TV can you watch or golf can you play before you miss your true passion...your true calling? If you're body can hold up, why not give it another go around right?

Well, wrestlers might not be classified as 'athletes' by most people...well only those ignorant to the rigors and training wrestlers go through over 300+ days a year. The punishment and abuse their bodies take is unbelievable, and it's very necessary that they take care of themselves mentally and physically in the best way possible.

Brett Favre is back in 2009 albeit with the Minnesota Vikings...

Michael Jordan isn't back but throw out the possibility that he could suit up at age 50 during his Hall of Fame speech. (you know it's over after multiple retirements)

Ric Flair officially retired in 2008 but is still hanging around. Hulk Hogan never officially retired but has been doing the reality show thang lately. So wasn't it a matter a time to see both of these guys don their robes and red/yellow gear again? Yea, I was surprised to hear that Hogan and Flair were going at it again for a show in Australia. See even Hogan is surprised to hear the news...check out the promo/trash talk of sorts by the Nature Boy after the pic.
