Ever install a program on a Windows platform and it ends up not being what you had originally hoped for? Well, now that it is installed how do you remove it? Typically you can go into the Control Panel and 'Add/Remove Programs' for Windows XP or 'Programs and Features' for Windows Vista in order to uninstall any programs that might be on your computer. Easy right? Well, some programs do not show up in that section and may not come with an uninstaller package. Now what do you do?

Revo Uninstaller will do the trick and it's completely free - no cost, no adware, no spyware. Here's how you get it and how to use it:

Follow these instructions:

1) Download the program from this site: http://www.revouninstaller.com

2) Click on the green ‘download now’ button and click save. Choose a location on the F:\ drive that you recognize and can easily find the file. Click save.

3) Find the file, and double left click on it. If asked to run, click run.

4) For installer language, click ok for English

5) Here is the beginning:

Click I accept the terms and click next

Since you do not have any room on the D:\ drive, click browse, click my computer, and click F:\ drive. Then click install.

After the quick install is complete, click finish

The program should automatically open and look like this:

Look through this list of programs. If you see anything you still have on your computer that shouldn’t be, click on them ‘one at a time’ and click uninstaller at the top left of the screen. It will ask if you are sure you want to uninstall. Click yes if you are.

The next screen should appear: Just choose moderate as that should be sufficient and click next.

Click next again.

It should ask you to continue to uninstall. Click next.

If it asks if you are sure you want to uninstall or ‘other programs depend on them’, click yes to continue.

This should take several minutes depending on how large the program is.

Once complete, it may ask you to click finish and that your computer will restart to fully complete the un-installation.

If you choose not to restart now, click next on this window:

It will do a search of any leftover files that might be on your computer. Once complete, click next and then finish.

You are done!
