A few weeks ago, we signed up and got approved to Google AdSense. About 3 weeks later, our account was disabled. Google sent us an email stating:
"While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account.
Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
If you have any questions about your account or the actions we've taken, please do not reply to this email. You can find more information by visiting..."
We honestly don't know why our account was disabled since we did not break Google's AdSense policies. We did NOT encourage users to click on our ads, we (administrators) did NOT click any ads on our site, nor did we pay any third party to generate clicking impressions. So I'm puzzled. We have users accessing our site from office intranets, homes, mobiles etc. For instance, if you work in an office intranet - you can have hundreds of users coming from the same iIP address but that doesn't mean 1 person is clicking on the ads. So I'm not sure how Google determines when to disable the account. We think we only had $30 or so - so we didn't lose a lot of money.
Needless to say, we are still waiting to hear back from Google regarding our appeal. We are still trying to look in our logs to see any variance in our daily usage pattern. Have any of our users ever experienced this? If so, please comment below. Thanks |
