Mafia Wars is basically a game created by a social gaming company Zynga.Inc. The cool thing about this game is it reminds me of Grand Theft Auto without the actual first person game play capability. All the fight scenes and cool stuff are simulated.

If you're not actually fighting, what makes it so fun then? Well, the whole concept is to build a mafia through your ‘friends’ in Facebook, Myspace, or other social networking site. You are the ‘Don’ or basically the head of your mafia. So what do you need when you are building a mafia? Money of course. Now don’t think you’re going to be earning money to build your mafia the honest way by working at the local burger time joint.

You get to do some real jobs…you know rob a corner store, mug someone, beat up a local gangster and steal his loot, or fight other mafias who are at the same skill level as yourself to build your experience and add more money in your pockets. That’s the traditional way right?

The main idea is to earn all this money and buy up properties, buildings, businesses, and get so big where you won’t have to do the dirty work yourself and live like a fat rat. Your goal is to be the biggest and richest Don in the world…Can you be the next Godfather?
